Amy Barton speaks about her passion for Arvad Ministries and House of Grace
Dallas Adams
Dallas Adams and her husband Aaron Adams are both Bossier Parish natives, and currently reside in North Bossier. With deep family ties to Bossier Parish, Dallas is excited to serve the same community her grandparents and great grandparents served. Currently, Dallas is the Brand Manager for Citizens Bank and Trust Company and loves being able to help promote the bank with different marketing strategies. She hopes that her marketing and social media skills will also help grow volunteers and resources for House of Grace.
Amy Barton, RN, BSN, VA-BC
Co-Founder, Arvad Ministries House of Grace NWLA
Amy Barton has been married to David “Bradly” Barton for 10 years and together they reside in Haughton, Louisiana. They are the proud parents of five children—Bryar (and wife Amanda), Bethany, Brandt (and wife Caroline), Bayes (and wife Sadye), and Olivia—and are blessed with ten grandchildren: Violet, Baylor, Benji, Finley, Daisy, Baker, Barrett, Charley, Samuel, and Bonnie.
Amy’s heart for fostering began with Olivia and “Tay.” While Tay later reunited with her biological family, Olivia was adopted into the Barton family at the age of 3. Amy and Brad have continued to open their home to foster children, believing deeply in the ministry of love, stability, and healing for those in need.
Professionally, Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. Over her 19-year nursing career at LSU Health in Shreveport, she served in a variety of roles including ER, pediatric, trauma, ICU, and vascular nursing. Amy also held the position of COO in launching five retail health clinics in Chicago, IL, and Minneapolis, MN.
In 2018, Amy stepped away from full-time nursing to homeschool Olivia and to dedicate herself more fully to Arvad Ministries House of Grace NWLA. She is especially passionate about helping young women aging out of foster care or those who have experienced trauma. Amy is committed to providing them with not only life skills and a supportive community, but also the hope and healing found through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

David “Bradly” Barton is the co-founder of Arvad Ministries House of Grace NWLA and the owner/operator of Barton Construction, bringing over 35 years of experience in the construction industry.
Brad is a dedicated father of four, having shared a loving marriage with his late wife, Teresa, until her passing from leukemia in 2013. In the same year, Brad’s life took a new direction when he met his current wife, Amy, and her daughter Olivia, along with Amy’s foster daughter, “Tay.” Through this relationship, Brad was introduced to the world of foster care, which has since become a significant part of his life and ministry.
A passionate mentor, Brad is known for teaching valuable life skills such as gardening, carpentry, and driving. His commitment to service, family, and hands-on education continues to impact the lives of those around him—both in his professional work and through his ministry.
